ART PRACTICE
Her latest body of work is all about children and technology. Children are using phones and iPads younger and younger, what impact is this having on a Childs developing brain? The 'Big Baby' series of work exploring society and the family unit in the twenty-first century and the impact of technology. Are we losing the ability to communicate to our fellow human, are children becoming so reliant on the digital world that they are struggling to live in the physical world. It seems children are suffering more than ever with mental health and lacking the resilience to function in society. What is the catalyst for our children to be so anguished? Could it be that the world seems so small and accessible, consequently dangers seem so huge. Are we are coddling our children so much that we are not allowing them to to develop durability needed for life?
